Overview

Case Chronology is a secure, web-based case management portal. This document explains how your account is created, how to log in for the first time, and how to navigate the portal.

How accounts are created

A Case Chronology portal account can be created in two ways:

• By Case Chronology staff — the team provisions your company account and sends login credentials by email.

• By self-registration — you sign up directly through the Case Chronology registration page using your company email address.

In both cases an initial admin user is created. This admin can then invite additional team members.

Note: If your account was created by Case Chronology staff, check your email inbox for a welcome message containing your login link and temporary credentials.

1. Open your web browser and go to your Case Chronology portal URL.

2. Enter your email address and the password provided in your welcome email.

3. If prompted, set a new password.

Note: If you have forgotten your password, click Forgot password on the login screen to receive a reset link.

Navigating the portal

Navigation in Case Chronology works in two ways:

• Global navigation — click your initials or avatar in the top-right corner to open the main menu. From here you can access Cases, User Management, Document Collections, Company Calendar, Contacts, Billing And Subscriptions, Templates, Automated Workflows, and more.

• Case navigation — once inside a case, a horizontal tab bar across the top of the page gives access to all case sections: Files, Workspace, Chronology, Reports, Invoices, Templates, Workflows, AI Chat, Search, Duplicates, Messages, Case Shares, Documents Exports, and Audit Log.
